Are donations tax deductible?
Yes. The Gesa Carousel of Dreams is collecting the donations and will disperse them following the event. We recommend you check with your tax preparer regarding a tax deduction for your donation. The tax ID number is 13-4228551.
How much of the donation goes to the non-profits?
After paying credit card processing fees, 100% of the funds collected will be donated to the non-profits.
How were the non-profits selected?
The non-profits were selected by the planning committee with input from the United Way and the Tri-City Nonprofit organization. The committee's goal was to find non-profits in the sectors that most impact the Mid-Columbia (kids, seniors, food, housing and healthcare).
Who will determine how much each non profit receives?
The United Way, the Tri-City Nonprofit Association and the Carousel will meet following the event to determine the amount which will be given to each non-profit.
Can I suggest a non profit to add to your list?
